August 2018

North Linn Community,

Welcome to the start of the 2018-19 school year! The start of a new school year is always an exciting time, not only for students, but for families and our staff as well. It is my pleasure to welcome the students, families and staff of North Linn back.

While there are still a few days remaining before the district starts another year I always encourage everyone to take a deep breath and take a quick look back at 2017-18.  From what I understand and have been able to learn it was a great year for North Linn in every area; in the classroom, on the athletic field, in the performing arts, and through extracurricular activities.

With all of that said the staff is looking forward to another great year and return of students on Thursday, August 23rd!

As we begin a new school year, we invite you to visit the district website (www.northlinncsd.org) for the latest information, news and announcements. Parents who have questions or concerns during the year are encouraged to contact their child’s teacher or the school principal.

The first day of school is a momentous occasion for families. Mom and dad get the camera ready, or the phone in many instances, to capture a memory that will live on for years to come.

The Board of Education joins me in extending best wishes to you for a productive school year filled with many opportunities.  Thank you.

Sincerely,

Alan Marshall, Superintendent
