- Breakfast: All Students: $1.80
- Lunch
- Preschool - 5th Grade: $2.65
- 6th - 12th Grade: $2.70
- Extra Lunch: $2.75
- Extra Entree: $2.00
- Adult Lunch: $4.97
- Milk: $0.50
In accordance with the Healthy Hungry Free Act, all students are required to choose one serving of fruit or a vegetable for the meal to qualify as a lunch.
Some families may not be aware of the different options available for school meals. Contact our Food Service Director with any questions at pkelly@northlinncsd.org
Box Lunches
- Available to grades 4 -12.
- The cost of the meal is the same as the regular hot lunch (free and reduced benefit applies).
- The meal consists of a cold meat sandwich w/ cheese on a croissant, baked chips, fresh vegetables, a fruit cup and milk.
- Elementary students will let their teacher know at lunch count that they elect for the box lunch.
- Middle School students sign up in the elementary kitchen before 9:00 am.
- High School students sign up in the high school kitchen before 9:00 am.
Alternate Meals
- Available to grades 6 -12.
- The cost is the same as the regular meal (free and reduced benefit applies).
- A menu with the alternate entrée option is posted outside of the lunch rooms.
- Students also have the choice to replace the main entrée with a chef salad and still receive the rest of the menu items.
- High School students sign up in the high school kitchen before 9:00 am.
- Middle school students sign up in the elementary kitchen before 9:00 am.
Grab & Go
- Available at the High School only.
- There is no no additional charge (free and reduced benefit applies).
- Students simply have to ask for it 'to go' as they come through the lunch line. We have containers ready.
Free & Reduced information - If a family is in need of assistance paying for meals they can apply by completing the Free & Reduced application. If a family does qualify this data is kept secure and confidential. The application can be found on the North Linn website at https://www.northlinncsd.org/ under Resources - Free/Reduced Eligibility Applications.
